Log #27: dif types of mental health gardens

I was talking to meta ai, after shoveling snow, (my mindfulness activity for the winter). When I walked in feeling better about the fact the  I was not getting my way!  That being said I found that shoveling anything snow or what ever was good for me!  So I thought of a diggy hobbie that I shall Do!   Gardening and moon gardening to help with mindfulness and relaxation!  The simple fact is that I want to still dig and shovel in the summer months though I can’t shovel snow!  So I was talking to my friends and came up with a topic for ai!  This is what it came up with now!

# Mindfulness Garden:

- *Purpose*: Encourage being present, reduce stress.

- *Elements*:

    - Seating areas for meditation

    - Simple, sensory plants (lavender, rosemary)

    - Water feature (small fountain)

    - Pathways for walking meditation

    - Minimal distractions

# Moon Garden:

- *Purpose*: Enjoy nighttime beauty, promote relaxation.

- *Elements*:

    - White or light-colored flowers (evening primrose, moonflowers)

    - Reflective surfaces (mirrors, water)

    - Soft lighting (solar lights)

    - Comfortable seating for stargazing

    - Fragrant night-blooming plants

That being said  the emotional regulation (mindfulness garden) will be for the day time when I feel like shit! And the moon garden to help with relaxing, something that all people with PTSD have a hell of a time with, emotional regulation and relaxing (or as my friend says ‘chillin’). That being said I feel the need to dig up a storm without get into shit!  So I thought of this with Ai!  That being said I need to the right stuff except for reflective surfaces and soft lightening as I just want to work on my mindfulness and relaxation!   That being said last night, someone said something very triggering about something I could not help but feel like it was a personal attack.

I will not get into that with out getting worked up!  That being said I will have to invest in garden gnome decorations too!  For the simple fact that I want this it be as entertaining as my iPad though more relaxing!   Though I find gardening very interesting to do….for mental health!

Other ideas are the

- *Restorative gardens*: Designed for relaxation and calm, often with soothing sounds and scents.

- *Therapeutic gardens*: Specifically designed for people with physical or emotional challenges, often with accessible paths and sensory plants.

- *Mindfulness gardens*: Encourage being present in the moment, often with meditation spaces and calming elements.

- *Nature therapy gardens*: Incorporate natural elements to promote connection with nature and reduce stress.
