Log #10: beautifully freaky music history 2025- 2026

 Well I am actually beautifully freaky, as in the singer/ song writer!   That being said I well tell you the inspiration behind this name and some of my music!  I obviously have been bullied in school and one of the thing neuronormative bullies would love to call me was freak!   Now this word could have positive implications given the right circumstances.  That being said I heard you can run away from your name though you equally can run away from you past!   This was a word that was  more-less turned into something negative.  That being said I am neurodivergent and well the word freak is a good thing at times, though not in a sexual way!  This being said the NSFW community also ruined this word!  Basically a ‘freak’ is a very unique person!  Nothing mean or sexual or derogatory to be honest with you.  I used to be called freak once or twice a week and I would take that as a compliment, not just to annoy the bullies but to fluff my feathers.  🪶

That being said this would be a good concept with my music, and help people who are unique with being just that.   I first started to write songs because I went to BluesFest, the Ottawa BluesFest, that being said I left wanting to write a song or too then  after I broke my phone a few weeks laters (separate time) I started to ultimately write the songs though I was going to write on or two songs, I started to write a song entitled ‘metal detector’ you know those rather annoying things you have to pass through in an airport.  I thought I struck gold  and I started to write more, though I preformed this song before one other human being, that was when she said I had something going on!  And I started to write more!   This was going to be a hobby though I did not think destroying my phone would be a good idea this was rather one of the starting points of this, the first BluesFest and the second the phone and then the third singing it.  I vowed that once I started to sing, that if I got an electronic that I would record this sucker and others!  This basically started to because I needed to write when I was without an electronic.  Which I remember seeing and here if Jacoby shaddix at BluesFest telling us about the songs he wrote.   That was the first catylist I wanted to write a song.   Then I the other stuff happened.     So the only thing keeping me sane for the rest of the year was my guitar and handpan and what have you.   That being said I started to wrote more songs though I was going to go insane at first.

That being said said I started to write other songs though let me tell you the reasoning behind metal detector, this was a song about a first relationship that being said this was when I was 18 though I had to hide this from my parents.  That said this was something that would haunt me with the intensity of a demon!    That was why I started to write the song, I had to get this off my chest.    That being said I started to write the different songs about other things though I started to write about Creepypasta  and the horror of sirenhead!  If you don’t kniw sirenhead, this is a monster that was from mustard Gus hallucinations and then popularized by Trevor Henderson.   Though I thought I saw sirenhead once this could be an omen to what would happen right now with the world.  

That being said I see that the us is rather unstable and may or may not be in the throes of civil war that being said I saw sirenhead and it was rather an omen with what was going to happen also in Ukraine and Russia, this rather eerie so I made an album about sirenhead and his Creepypasta.   Though there was some other albums that I would start up the next was Creepypasta vol. 1

Creepypasta vol.1

Creepypasta volume 1 is a creepy and ghostly handpan album, that being said I also have a hand pan drum that I own since two christmases ago!  Though it has a rich sound I thought it would be great for this album!  I did this one before Halloween just in time for Halloween.  I wanted to do a Halloween album with my handpan as it rather eerie sounding.  

I find the hand pan was rather great for mindfulness and calmness and I rather associate these things with the eerie and creepy though the Creepypasta can just be as simple as a calming moment during chaos!  That being said I rather see calmness as spooky and rather eerie than something as a happy and more positive thing.

I wanted to see that calmness was for the musician as well as the listener.  This was supposed to be rather creepy like sirenhead sounding off eeirely in the distance. Though the hand pan was a calming sound it could just be as ghostly!  That being said I hope to send off more freaking spooky sounds!

Though I started to write songs for this album mid august 2025, this was about the dangerous of love!  Though this was talking about the horrors o glove the abuse and horrible break ups that come with it.  However most people would not experience abuse that being said some of use are not as lucky as most people.

The fact of the matter is that entered into a relationship with a bad and very sick man who was not rather savoury.  This man would say that he was a t-e-r-r-o-r-i-s-t and a serial killer on my birthday.  That being said I needed some therapy because if this relationship and the reason why I entered in the relationship.  That being said I was attacked by my mother, though I started see my self as inferior and then entered into yet another triggering relationship, this would lead me to take on a victim mindset, and you don’t want to get into this kind of mindsets.  That was not good, though I soon would find that would heal nicely from these toxic relationships that being said I see that if you are really at peace you don’t need to be in a relationship to validate who you are.  That being said this is what salaam my love rather talks about, though I wish the toxic people well I also want them to slip on a banana peal!

Tackaberry was an album that being said I saw this name when driving, or being driven some where, this was a rather interesting name!  Also the album art work which is by a friend who dabbled in astrophotography on her smart phone that was of Cassiopeia.   That being said I did do some astrophotography from time to time.  

I asked her if I could use this image of the Cassiopeia and use it as the album art.  She said yes and I rather was happy about that though the album was written in mid august of 2025, that being said one of the songs was called tackaberry and was inspired by the local construction company, Tackaberry which was a rather interesting name that being, the song feature a person flying amount the stars!  This being said I would write about something that is rather interesting  and sounds strange like the name tackaberry!   I have seen this name everywhere I go though I wanted this in my creative process!  That being said, I hope you can listen to this after the blog post!

This just has a bunch of Christmas classics and some of my own original songs that being said the album. ‘A very freaky Christmas,’ feature silent night, and rest ye merry men and other as well as original sings like holy cow it’s Christmas and other stuff! 

That being said making this album was rather annoying as Christmas songs are not my strong suit!

I did mostly covers if copyright free song like silent night and such because I would not wrap my head around this album!

This makes me sound like a Scrooge though I am not a Scrooge or a grinch!   When making this album i was going through some rather tough times and could bot get into the Christmas spirit!  That being, it has been hard to do since my mother died!  This rather annoying to write about.

    

   This was a blues album though I started  to listen to Tinsley Ellis with hoodoo woman and David and the devil and bridge city sinners, this was created when I got my self into a world of trouble.  It was these artists and me writing and singing the blues that were soothing and I was able to cope with the situation, though I still sound pop-ish in my other albums that being said I started to make the switch to the blues as this stuff helped with my mental health.

This album, ‘swampy death toll’ is a rather delta blues though I don’t have a resonator guitar that being said I found I had that gritty voice that was needed to play the blues.

I had many bouts of Covid and colds and one flu that made me voice rather gritty for this genre of music!   

Seven hells,  I found this rather interesting that I would be into Americana, though my passport and other forms of tree DNA (paper) said I was Canadian this shows that a sound doesn’t have a respected nationality or border that being said if life’s pains, and your voice makes and allows you to, then sing the gritty blues!    There are many other sounds coming out in 2026 that being said, swampy death toll was released by my father’s birthday, Jan 31, 2026 though he never would hear it in this realm.   Personally I find that music and even pop music has helped me get back on track with my emotions!  That being said I you can see when I started to go off the rails to the time I did and rather making my recovery and healing.    

That being said I never thought this would get me through things that before would have ended me right away!   I personally have grown as a person and I would rather see that.  Now if you want to listen to my music!Spotify music
